If a document requires a password, the editor asks for it and unlocks the file locally. Passwords are never sent to HamroColleges.

Private profile storage

Profile saving is optional and available only to signed-in users. Saved files use protected storage and authenticated download links.

Is this PDF editor free?

Yes. Editing and downloading use free browser libraries and do not consume API credits.

Are my files uploaded?

Not while editing or downloading. A PDF is sent to HamroColleges only when you deliberately save it to your signed-in profile.

Can I edit the original words already inside a PDF?

This editor adds new text, comments and signatures over the existing pages. It does not reflow or directly rewrite the original document text.

Can I reopen a saved PDF later?

Yes. Signed-in users can open the PDF Files section in My Profile to reopen, download, rename or delete a saved PDF.
